Nokia – GITEX, Dubai

For the first time in my design career, I was asked to design a complete exhibition stand ground up. On the first day of my new job in Dubai, I was thrown in the deep end, faced with one of the biggest challenges ever. I was an Art Director competing in a five-way pitch against some of the leading Events and Exhibitions companies in UAE and the international arena when Nokia was launching their latest N9 phone.

GITEX Technology Week in Dubai provides a comprehensive platform in promoting, showcasing and networking the latest technology and services.Therefore, NOKIA utilized this occasion to connect to international and regional exhibitors, professionals and visitors.

GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, exhibition and conference which takes place in Dubai. Its exhibitions in the Middle East have included 138,000 participants at one event and 150,019 in particular at Gitex 2009 where Microsoft released Windows 7.
